Khanh Hoa, Vietnam to Welcome International Open Water Swimming Race in September

The provincial People’s Committee has issued a decision regarding the organization of a swim race on Bai Dai Beach in Cam Ranh City. This decision follows proposals made by Peak Event JSC and the provincial Department of Culture and Sports. The race is set to feature categories of two, five, and ten kilometers and has attracted over 900 domestic and international swimmers. The provincial administration has instructed the organizers to collaborate with other agencies to ensure safety and security during the competition. In addition, the organizers and other relevant units have been directed to closely monitor all aspects of the event, including messages, images, and maps. Previously, the race had been canceled due to violations of Vietnamese sports laws and the use of an incomplete map. The organizer has resolved these issues and has pledged to comply with Vietnamese laws and respect Vietnam’s sovereignty.
