Great Partnership Prospects between Vietnam and Gujarat State, India

During his attendance at the 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit from January 9 to January 12, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang met Chief Minister of Gujarat state Bhupendra Patel, as reported by VOV. Deputy PM Quang highlighted the increasing cooperation opportunities between Vietnam and Gujarat, especially since the launch of direct flights between Gujarat and the major Vietnamese cities of Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi in November 2022. The frequency of flights is now 14 per week. Moreover, several corporations based in Gujarat are planning to invest in the Vietnamese market. Vietnam and Japan Enhance Collaboration on Climate Change Adaptation

The eighth Vietnam – Japan environmental policy dialogue took place on January 12 in a hybrid format, with Japan’s State Minister of the Environment, Yagi Tetsuya, and Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Le Cong Thanh, co-chairing the event, as reported by VNA. Deputy Minister Thanh emphasized the significance of the event as the memorandum of understanding for cooperation signed by the two ministries in 2020 had expired. He stated that this provides an opportunity for the two ministries to discuss and initiate a new phase of cooperation in the areas of environment, climate change, and plastic waste reduction. Da Nang Airport Granted “Welcome Chinese” Certification

Da Nang International Terminal was awarded on December 11, making it the first airport terminal in Southeast Asia to receive Welcome Chinese certification. This demonstrates the airport’s dedication to understanding and meeting the needs of Chinese tourists. Established in 2008, China Tourism Academy is a research organization based in Beijing, under the China National Tourism Administration. The Tan Dinh Church in Ho Chi Minh City is ranked fourth in a global list of 8 prettiest pink destinations that can “fulfill every Barbie lover’s fantasy.” The listing is carried by an article in the Hindustan Times, a prominent Indian English daily. “Tan Dinh Church, located in the center of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, is a stunning architectural marvel and an iconic pink landmark,” the article says. Sunflower field attracts visitors over New Year weekend in north-central Vietnam

The cold weather on Monday morning did not stop crowds from descending on the sunflower field in Nghia Lam Commune, Nghia Dan District. For dozens of hectares, millions of golden sunflowers bloomed across the field, offering limitless photo opportunities for visiting tourists.
