Tet paintings in the home of Hanoians

Vietnam-Korea Art Exhibition to foster friendship

An exhibition titled “Quintessence of Vietnamese – Korean Fine Arts” is taking place at the Hanoi Museum on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries (1992-2022). Photo: VNA The exhibition features 300 works by Vietnamese and Korean artists, including 19 artists who are members of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association (born between 1939 and 1971) and eight others from the Korean Institute of Fine Arts Enuam. Typical Vietnamese artists are Vu Trong Thuan, Hoang Dang Nhuan, Truong Be, Trinh Thanh Tung, Nguyen Lam, Ho Huu Thu, Duong Sen, Vu Duong, Hoang Dang and Lam Huynh. Meanwhile, painters from Korea include Han Heewon, Chae Jongkee, Lee Johnlip, Rhim Chongho, Lee Hoguk, Jeong ChulKyo, Choi In-ho, and Kim Sungnam.
