Vietnam culture week in Versailles concludes with an Art programme

EPVN was established in 2007 by parents who wanted to assist orphaned children in Vietnam and enhance the relationship between Vietnam and France. Its main goal is to improve the living conditions of children in orphanages and disadvantaged families in Vietnam through humanitarian aid, such as providing supplementary food or milk for infants, conducting vaccination campaigns, organizing medical activities, supplying hygiene products, and raising awareness in these areas. Sa Dec Flower Festival Scheduled to Open Later This Year

The highlight of the festival will be an exhibition of flowers and ornamental trees from the Mekong Delta region, along with a fair showcasing One Commune One Product (OCOP) goods. A contest on flower gate decorations and a beauty contest are expected to attract plenty of participants . Most notably, a workshop on improving the overall quality of flowers and ornamental trees in the Mekong Delta region will also be held during the event. 15 short stories by Vietnamese writer published in RoK

The collection spans a total of 462 pages, featuring his most popular stories, including “Tuong ve huu” (Retired Army General), “Nhung ngon gio Hua Tat” (Winds in Hua Tat village), “Muoi Cua Rung” (Salt From Forest), and “Khong co vua” (No King).  Each of the pieces was translated by Kim Joo Young under the auspices of the Daesan Foundation in the Republic of Korea. Nguyen Huy Thiep (1950-2021) hailed form the northern province of Thai Nguyen and is notable for being one of the country’s most talented short story writers since 1975. Throughout his 50-year career, Thiep wrote a total of 50 short stories, 10 scripts, four novels, and plenty of literary criticism. His works have since been translated into many languages, ​​such as French, English, German, Italian, and Dutch.
