Proposals to Increase Vietnam-France Tourism Collaboration
The event was organized by the Vietnam-France Friendship Association in Hanoi on September 23 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties and the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the bilateral strategic partnership. Vice President of the association, Nguyen Thai Dung, stated that the forum provided an opportunity for businesses to explore potential tourism in both Vietnam and France, as well as exchange tourism products. Obstacles to tourism development were also discussed, with the aim of helping the two countries develop policies to improve the situation and promote tourism cooperation, according to Dung. Le Ba Dung, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi Tourism Association, highlighted that Vietnam and Hanoi in particular have become a popular destination for French tourists.
