Vietnam is emerging as one of Southeast Asia’s most popular tourist destinations for international travelers and experts. More than 100,000 foreign experts are living and working in Vietnam. These are among 200 scholarships that Hungary will offer for Vietnamese students to follow higher education involving sports at top universities in the European country, heard attendees at a recent meeting between Vietnam Sports Administration and a Hungarian Olympic Committee delegation. Szabo Bence, director of the House of Hungary at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, said the Hungarian Olympic Committee mapped out many programs to promote sports cooperation with Vietnam. As part of these programs, three Vietnamese football talents at the given age will be trained to meet international levels and come back home to contribute to Vietnamese football.
