Foreigner shares dos and don’ts of travel etiquette in Vietnam

Vietnam is emerging as one of Southeast Asia’s most popular tourist destinations for international travelers and experts. More than 100,000 foreign experts are living and working in Vietnam. Ian Paynton, a British native, resides in Hanoi. He first traveled to Vietnam in 2007, and three years later, he decided to leave London for the Southeast Asian country for resettlement. Hungary to grant scholarships to 3 Vietnamese football talents

These are among 200 scholarships that Hungary will offer for Vietnamese students to follow higher education involving sports at top universities in the European country, heard attendees at a recent meeting between Vietnam Sports Administration and a Hungarian Olympic Committee delegation. Szabo Bence, director of the House of Hungary at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, said the Hungarian Olympic Committee mapped out many programs to promote sports cooperation with Vietnam. As part of these programs, three Vietnamese football talents at the given age will be trained to meet international levels and come back home to contribute to Vietnamese football. The Vietnam Sports Administration and Vietnam Football Federation will jointly select the three young talents in the field.
