Duc Tri to Bring a Lifetime of Music to Hanoi in Concert

Musician Duc Tri will be organizing a live concert titled “Like the Wind to Travel” in Hanoi on October 1st. This concert is expected to be the biggest program of his career. Duc Tri shared his reason for choosing Hanoi, stating that his audience is mostly from Hanoi. Last year, when he had music shows in Da Lat, 70% of the audience came from Hanoi. Therefore, it makes sense to organize his biggest music night here. From a producer’s perspective, Duc Tri also emphasized that Hanoi has a great potential as a music market. Vietnam’s Phu Yen to host tuna parties on coming holiday

The upcoming five-day holiday lasts from April 29 to May 3 to celebrate Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day (April 29), Reunification Day (April 30), and International Workers’ Day (May 1). To cater to tourists during this occasion, the coastal province already prepared multiple events, especially tuna parties held at major tourist attractions in the provincial capital city of Tuy Hoa, said Cao Hong Nguyen, head of the tourism management division under the provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism on Sunday. On April 30 and May 1 evenings, the Stelia Beach Resort and the Apec Mandala Phu Yen will throw buffet parties and display tuna filleting skills, offering guests a wide selection of tasty tuna dishes, while the Sala Grand Tuy Hoa Hotel will open a rural-style market and offer a buffet party. Unique specialties go on sale at Vietnam-Laos border market

The market previously opened up on the final day every month at a location in Laos, about 3km from the border. Since 2019, the market has been moved to Nam Can international border gate and is held regularly on Sundays. Many local specialties can be found on sale at the border market. Handicraft items created by both Vietnamese and Lao people are available for purchase at the market. Trade exchanges through the border crossing help to serve local people’s demand for goods throughout the whole year. At the market people mainly use the Mong ethnic language in transactions, and both Lao and Vietnamese currencies are accepted as forms of payment.
