Vietnam Vows to Support Global Peace Efforts
The 2023 World Conference Against Atomic and Hydrogen Bombs took place from August 4-9. “We strongly believe that together, we will create a future of peace, stability, cooperation, and prosperity for the region and the world,” stated the leader in a message sent to the 2023 World Conference Against Atomic and Hydrogen Bombs in Hiroshima, Japan. The conference, themed “With the Hibakusha, Let Us Achieve a Nuclear Weapon-free, Peaceful and Just World – for the Future of the Humankind and Our Planet,” was held from August 4-9. The conference was attended by thousands of Japanese delegates and international representatives from the Marshall Islands, the Philippines, the Republic of Korea, Nepal, the US, Ukraine, Germany, France, Russia, Finland, Canada, the UK, and Vietnam.
