3. Vien Tieu Cung garden house

In the past, Xuan Vien Tieu Cung Garden House was the living place of Minister of Ceremonies Pham Huu Dien. It was built in 1894, under the reign of King Thanh Thai, and is currently the sixth generation descendant of Pham Huu Dien still looking after the house.

According to the owner, “Xuan Vien Tieu Cung” means a spring flower garden in a small palace. The garden house has three compartments and two wings located at right angles. The main house is designed with the front line to worship ancestors, and the interior is typical of the ancient architectural culture of Hue. The garden house is hidden behind tall green trees, bringing a peaceful and quiet atmosphere for travelers.
